Creating the Mardi Gras 2015 ball gown for Queen of Carnival

Suzanne Perron St. Paul opened shop in New Orleans in 2006, and specializes in wedding, debutante and Carnival ball gowns. St. Paul’s credentials include stints at Carolina Herrera, Anna Sui, Chado Ralph Rucci, Christina Perrin and Vera Wang, where she worked directly with the designer in development of ready-to-wear and bridal collections. St. Paul, spent months creating the gown for Charlotte Lane Langenstein, who reigned as Queen of Carnival on Mardi Gras 2015. Langenstein wore the gown at the Rex organization's annual ball on Mardi Gras.

A Pool Designed for Pups

At their Uptown home, Gene and Steve Goldring built a swimming pool for their beloved dogs. It features a gradually sloping entrance at one end and shallow steps to make exiting the deep end easier for the four-legged friends.
